OUR WHY??
Mothers on a Mission is dedicated to empowering youth and families through education, financial literacy, and access to resources that build stability and long-term success. Rooted in lived experiences of overcoming homelessness and financial hardship, we strive to break generational cycles of poverty by providing knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities not taught in traditional classrooms. Our mission is to create pathways to entrepreneurship, affordable housing, and wealth-building so that every young person and family has the tools to rise, thrive, and lead with confidence.

Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty by equipping youth and families with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to achieve self-sufficiency. We strive to create communities where young people are empowered with financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills, and access to stable housing, allowing them to build generational wealth and lead purpose-driven, independent lives.

We Teach They Lead
Mothers on a Mission 6-Week Empowerment ProgramThe Mothers on a Mission 6-Week Program is designed to equip youth and families with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a path toward self-sufficiency. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on learning, participants gain confidence, financial literacy, and practical life skills that create lasting stability.Program Highlights:Week 1: Building Confidence & Self-Awareness – Discover personal strengths, set goals, and develop the mindset for success.Week 2: Empowerment Through Knowledge – Learn decision-making skills, leadership, and how to advocate for yourself.Week 3: Financial Foundations – Understand credit, budgeting, and saving for short- and long-term goals.Week 4: Pathways to Stability – Explore housing, career opportunities, and resources that support self-sufficiency.Week 5: Entrepreneurship & Wealth Building – Learn how to turn ideas into income and strategies for creating generational wealth.Week 6: Putting It All Together – Develop a personalized action plan with mentorship support to carry forward beyond the program.By the end of the course, participants will walk away with the confidence, empowerment, financial knowledge, and stability skills needed to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
